@cusanusnicolas you dont have to have a DEGREE, you can teach with just having a TEFL or sometimes without if lucky. having a degree gives you better pay in better schools, but they also accept just people with TEFL and you can still get good pay.

You need a 4 year degree, in anything. You need to take the TEFL classes when you arrive, about $1,600 and something like 6-8 weeks. Vietnam will often pay for these while you work. The pay/COL ratio is better in Vietnam than Thailand, but not as easy socially. Any more questions, msg me privately.

Giving the matter serious consideration in September 2010. Thailand does seem a great place. I am mainly interested in Teaching English in Hotels, as I am a Hotel Manager here in the UK.
