For atmosphere i guess. I also play guitar.. at a smaller level, of course , but I would never destroy my instrument .. because it serves me ^^. Jim's Telecaster is 1500$ if I am not mistaken.

even though I think corey doesn't sound as he did in 2002. Probably due to smoking and screaming his fucking head off all the time. He sounds way better than most metal bands vocalists live.

@crazyhiho Ya mate. Just look at him now, sometimes his voice is so scratchy he can barely talk. Much respect to Corey. Whats puts you and I together as buddies though is that both of us are Slipknot Fans. Maggot for life bro.

@crazyhiho Well, I mean, he didn't know singing back then. He even said it. He was tearing his throat apart in those days and we could all feel it and see it. But he's really been putting an effort in the 2011 Slipknot shows. But that's just my opinion. I like his voice now, more singing and playing with his range. :P

@Retrocharizard your right... i know what your refferring to, listen to 9.0 live and his voice is ALOT worse then any of the 2009-2011 performances, and there are some screams where corey sounds vicious, just as he did back in the day.

although i do like coreys voice now, NOTHING he ever does will ever beat 2001-2002... he was the best vocalist of all time in my eyes in that era, hes still my idol, but hes not what he use to be.
