what story?
its a 2 hour vehicle for violence and blood. it pulls this off really well and has great visual aesthetics but as far as a storyline goes its piss weak.
the movie is violence. pure and simple. dont try to fix what isnt broken.

Haha, so many angry comments ^^ Dimmu Borgir is a Norwegian Symphonic Black Metal Band... meaning that the bulk of their recent work falls under this cathergory.
Perfection or Vanity is an awesome song, and somehow to me it sounds like it would be even more awesome as part of a film soundtrack. Good job Haimolus, would have loved to see even better audio quality on this though ;P

The blood is supposed to look fake, this movie is based off of the comic of 300 and that is based off of the actually battle of thyrmopoly so in that sense there is a whoel lot of story to it.

and just what is good violence? remember... violence is about a fight or a battle, not about gore or torture. if you want that sort of stuff, their called snuff films and its fucked up shit. it isnt violence though.
the ultimate in violence is 2 or more people facing each other on even terms.
