  • But, I paid $385 for my Maximus Extreme back in April. And, the new Rampage Extreme is going to cost $ 450...something tells me that it probably does not have any better temp sensor than whats currently being used?

Or is it that you hooked up a probe sensor of your own choosing to one of the optional temp inputs, to be able to read -60+?

  • Some temp sensors read differently thats all. Sometimes it depends on the cpu as well. That shot was the bios but you can see in the vid he also has a thermometer on the base of the pot as well.

  • Hey yomama, just saw your thread on ocn...i'm thunder_2008. Anyways, my question is what kind of motherboard was the one used in this video?

I noticed that it measured the cpu temperature to -60c....most motherboards can only go to like 10c anyways all the Asus rog mbs' that I have had only measure temps to that.

  • Asus P5B which was top of the line at the time.

  • wat song is that

  • Yes, the bios was what I meant...but now that you mention thermometer on base of pot. Where can I find pots at reasonable prices here in the states?

So, far I know only of a UK site, that has one for like 180pound=$350.

    Links would be good???

  • Ah, ? so why has Asus not used the same type of temp probe/sensor in the rog line up.

I mean I know that the p5 series are really good...and have been used to win some top bench scores in 3Dmark06 and other things.

  • Man I love that pot... which is why I bought it :P Nice video Cpt.Planet

  • wat song is that

  • Awesome! I love that Danger Den Torture rack case and Planet Pot. Keep those volts high!
