It's weird. I loved SM's writing in the RTD era, but in the SM era, I miss RTD. He turned the Daleks into power-rangers, introduced Mrs. Robinson (River Song) back, and failed miserably in series 6. He's funnier, but I don't get the same emotional connection that I did with RTD's character. I don't like Slut (Amy) or Mickey (Rory) or Mrs. Robinson. I like 11, but I loved 10 more. I'll never forgive Amy for kissing The Doctor. Hopefully the'll bring back RTD and SM to write 50th anniversary.

I get that "David Who?" was meant as a cheeky joke, but... it wasn't really fitting, was it?

@HappyBunny0023 An yet here your are. Watching Moffat content.

Moffat is terrible. He's turned Daleks into skittles, introduced the Mary Sue - River Song and is just trying to ignore everything that the fans have loved about the show since 2005.

during christopher's seasons, RTD tried to show how the doctor was after so many years of not having the show up anymore. And Chris, he showed the Doctor's dark side very well and probably, if he stayed longer, could have been the best doctor.

I don't like Steven Moffat's episodes, he makes it so boring and adds all kinds of weird stuff to the show, i didn't mind the Melody Pond stuff but in RTD's seasons, every episode was AMAZING. In Steven Moffat's seasons, there have to be like at least 4 stupid, boring, waste-o-time episodes. Bring back RTD!!!! I hope SM get's kicked off and I don't like Matt Smith so much. I also liked Christopher Eccleston and my favorite seasons were season 1 and 4. SM's the reason I don't watch this anymore.

I like RTD's version and Steven Moffat's version. Steven has epic writing with lots of twists but i miss RTD's version...it was sort of camp and didn't take itself too seriously. When i watch old episodes i miss how RTD did it

The "David who?" comment pissed me off. As much as I love Matt Smith and think he's a GREAT Doctor, David Tennant was AMAZING and will always be my favorite Doctor. His brilliance was the reason the show grew to such popularity, and just because he left, it doesn't mean you have to forget that he played the role. Loving Matt Smith as the Doctor does not equate to having to view David's amazing portrayal of the same character as mediocre or sub-par.
