A small slice of WCCO-TV Channel 4 news from 1987 with Pat Miles discussing the fact that thin ice is dangerous; Mike Fairbourne (who by this time had already been with WCCO for 10 years) then reassures her that he's going to use his powers as a meteorologist to lower the temperature. The side of Don Shelby's head looks on intently at Mike's proclamation of miraculous weather abilities.
Before all that... commercials for Solid Gold and Jeopardy!

When Jeopardy first aired on WCCO it was either 3:30 PM or 4:30 PM. I can't remember if WCCO always had Oprah. I don't think so but I'm not sure. I know it was in the afternoon.

Does anybody know the exact airdates on when Lionel Goldbart first appeared on "Jeopardy!"?

Seems like they might have aired J! in lieu of Card Sharks.

It brings back lots of memories hearing John Gallos and Paul Stagg doing the promos.

That champion was Lionel Goldbart on those "Jeopardy!" clips. He was the one that did not play Final Jeopardy during Semi-Final game #3 of the Tournament of Champions when he forgot to phrase something in the form of a question on a daily double in the Horses category.

And today in Minneapolis, Jeopardy! airs at 4:30pm and KARE 11 after getting buried at 1:00am on WCCO for a few years. What other times did WCCO carry Jeopardy! back in the day?

0:31 the music piece was nearly sounded like the theme song of Annie McGuire.

This Jeopardy! promo clip was from season 2, which is the 1985-85 season.
