There's a great dryness in our land. The saviors we turned to in past droughts are dried out, too: the economy, schools, neighborhoods, families, churches, cities, governments. Maybe the one true Savior is allowing everything to go dry for a reason: so that the fire of the Holy Spirit can sweep across the land. In this time of dryness, we turn to God our Father.
We've gathered here to lift your name up Let your glory fill this place Give us gifts, O Holy Spirit And let us do greater things We want to see the lame go dancing And the orphan shown your love Come bring our cities to their knees
We will take back what sin has stolen We will rescue His children Raise the battle cry Come storm the gates of hell that hold them Beloved ones of Yahweh Let His church arise
Jesus we live to bring you glory Let us join you on the cross Come and use this generation Only for your cause Father you took the risk of love Now we are called your own That's all we ever want to be
