The first single from supergroup Amethyst. Recorded in 1969, the song features Voodoo Llanes and Walter Sobchak from 60's Laurel Canyon group The Happy Lads. Bob Makela and Molly Cinnamon joined in early '69 to form Amethyst. Taken from their only album "Betwixt Nonesuch and Farther", (Module Records).

Great rendition -- almost looks authentic (The VW Bus is a great touch), Song by Carol King, as seen in Easy Rider.

this is very obviously a parody and I think it's great. Look at the descriptionof theband...hahahaha "The Happy Lads" so funny....great job of catchng the spirit of the times. Everyone knows the Byrds really did this. Duh.
