@Sidvole it was his mentor who was the bomber so it became personal he was told to cut the wrong wire but that doubt which is in all of us kicked in right choice this time

True....Great film though.....they just cocked up the ending....If he had said to his lad's "Right lads am cutting the red" it would have made more sense...... lol

I still don't get the end.....everybody heard the bomber say cut the blue, now richard harris cut the red without telling his men which one he was going to cut, so they are assuming he's cutting the blue.

So say it was really the red and it exploded, all his men would assume he cut the blue and they would all cut the red.....and explode.!!!!
