It is funny how many products involved in the creation of this video contain copper and nickel. It is also funny how people can be so opposed to mining, yet not think twice about driving a car or talking on a cell phone, or use any of the other countless every day products which rely on mined materials in order to function. It is ok to be opposed, but not ignorant.

the mine hasent even been built yet and probably wont be built for years as htere are still lawsuits and future lawsuits that will come against the project........and thank god for that...........last thing we need are more foreigners raping our land......

The dumbest idea ever...you take the last "truly" pristine waterway in Michigan...the last one that can actrually support Coaster Brook trout and you put an acid mine drainage sulfide mine on it...
20 years of jobs and a 10,000 years of ruined groundwater, a 1000 years of destroyed fishery, and 100 years of destroyed surface ecosystem.
That's good thinkin'

It's a combination of World Wind and satellite photos from NASA. So it's royalty free. :]

I also composited a lot of cloud layers into the piece to spice it up a bit, so it does look a bit more dynamic then World Wind by itself.
