This is a great modifier, very simple to use and create complex curved surfaces suck as a drinking bottle. The best part is, you can let it automatically generate UV maps which are perfect for texturing without any adjustments needed (most of the time)
FOR THE PPLZ WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEM FINDING THE LATHE MODEFIER MAKE SURE U MAKE THE LINE AND CLCIK THE + THING NEXTTT TO THE WORD LINE IN THE MOD MENU and then go in 2 modifier and u will find it :D
@ServerTeleporT - Same place. Just draw a line on the viewport and while the line is selected go to the drop down on modifier list - hit L and it will scroll by default to lathe
I just checked, and I couldn't find a Lathe modifier. I searched my Autodesk file under my program files, and I don't even HAVE anything like lathe.dlm or something. =|
Great tutorial, though. It should be useful...once I get the option to use Lathe...
Thank you very much i wos confused by shape and didnt realize that i should simply press min button! Thanks!

I work in AutoCad and what you were doing was somewhat similar to the revolve command. You have educational skills, keep teaching us!
