Carol of the Bells - arr: Peter Wilhousky -- The Stairwell Carollers

"Carol of the Bells" was audience choice # 4 in our countdown. It was performed by The Stairwell Carollers on Dec 18, 2009 at their "Carols à la Carte" concert, where the audience got to choose their favorite 15 carols from a list of 25. The Stairwell Carollers are an a cappella Ottawa choir, formed in 1977 by director Pierre Massie. A non-profit organization, they raise funds for local charities through concert, CD and cookbook sales.

@acedaface954 that's hilarious -- since this is a live recording and no reverb was added -- that's just the church's natural echoey sound you are hearing

@StairwellCarollers oh yeah i know its natural room reverb. just wish it wasn't there. its like eating a delicious sandwich and deluding the flavor with water lol. just recently heard this in the santa clause starring tim allen. thats when it hit me that i love this song. lol

@acedaface954 That's what happen when you perform in cathedrals -- actually that's why we're called the Stairwell Carollers (the echo in the stairwell made us sound better) LOL
