@kansaimagic It's possible, as you say in the beginning, I guess, that things are staged, but I hope not. Regarding women. . . . .you say you're not happy about it. I have sworn the oath of the White Ribbon Campaign. When I can, I live the oath. You might want to look into it. :)
Please remember that all women owe us guys a Rib. Just kidding. Its possible that some situations in this great show were staged in order to give it some drama. Women are treated like second rate citizens and just like you I'm not happy about it.
Too often the men in charge choose to make the women suffer for a man's viewpoint. If the "man in charge" has only men for employees and they make the same mistake she did, they are warned and sent back at it. If the mistake is done by a woman, she is treated as Lisa was. I saw it in the military and I'm seeing it in the civilian sector. It stinks. I've partnered with such women, AND men that faulter as well, and have helped build them back up. 1 mistake should not send you back to the bottom.
every now and then you're right at the top of the mountain then you plummet back to the bottom.. at this point you have 2 options. Option A: give up and go home or option B: dry your eyes take a deep breath and take another run at it (which is what Lisa will do). Keep it shiny side up, right door closed and your foot off them brakes.
i know Lisa is one of the best Female truckers on this show and in the bussiness i am not a truck driver but a big fan of this show and i believe that the boss should of given her another chance but i do understand his point of view he doesnt want lisa or whatever load she will carry to get hurt or worse lisa's life but he should of given her another shot though
