Lennox Lewis vs Shannon Briggs round 4

My favourite round of boxing comes from the Heavyweight title fight between Lennox Lewis & Shannon Briggs. It's mostly in Lennox's favour with a variety of combinations coming in from all directions, but Shannon has a go back when he seems finished & with nothing left. The fight was stopped in round five in favour of Lennox as Shannon fell from throwing his own punch & he was considered unfit to continue.

I watched Briggs vs Klitschko live last night & i was so anoyed that Briggs didn't find that one punch & put Vitalite on the canvas. I've always admired Briggs since the Lewis fight & was very happy for him when he became champion. But the reality is is that Briggs was dominated by Vitalite & never had a look in. He was smashed in certain rounds but he took Vitalites best shots but was able to stand there at the end for the decision to come in. Big heart Briggs...

anyhows, I thought the music fitted quite well. It picks up as they start the round; the first knockdown is timed to the music & when Lewis goes on a solid attack after the knockdown it seems to run well at 2.15 - 2.35? Maybe it's just me...

i think the music is cool. it seems to have the same "vibe" as lennox in this round -- very relaxed as he fights.

One of my favourite heavyweight rounds in boxing ever. Briggs and Lewis grinning across the ring at each other from their stools is an awesome moment, as is Lewis grinning after a big salvo from Briggs then firing from the hip to knock Shannon down.

Lots of macho BS in this fight, a real fun one.

Vitali has an Iron Jaw he would'nt go down even if briggs had hit him,which he did,you've got them confused man it's wladimir with the glass jaw,and even he can take punches pretty well these days.He's gotten alot better did you see the haye fight?he got hit really hard in the chin a couple of times and he recoverd really well from them
