Cpl. Christian A. Guzman Rivera, 21, of Homestead, Florida. Guzman Rivera was assigned to the 3rd Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa, Japan.
GOOOSE, brother, every other day or so of you a friend will ask about how life is in the corps, how im doing, and well i cant help it but every time a thought of you comes up man, and i cant help but tell them im doing good but you should be doing better. I mean how is heaven man, is it great, im never gonna know, i get out in a 8 months, but ill always pour a shot for you. I love you bro, you taught me some shit bro, ill never forget. Cpl. Guzman was my squad leader in boot camp. Him and I also traveled together from Miami to Parris Island to attend recruit training. In the short time I knew him he made a lasting impression on me. He was an amazing person, and I know platoon 2021 will miss him.
