A classic from the '80s starring Bauhaus frontman, Pete Murphy, blowing his mind with the power of Maxell cassettes (the Bang & Olufsen stereo helped some too).
So iconic is this image it has been parodied numerous times, most recently in the 'Model Misbehavior' episode of Family Guy. And now we've just seen it on the cover of Lemar's new album, 'The Reason' (the Le Corbusier chair is the giveaway).

Thanks for uploading such a high quality video of a classic TV commercial from the '80s. It's weird to see Peter Murphy in such a mainstream commercial, but he has the right look for this ad.

....but when my own PERSONAL GOD's "DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS FACE" happens to be the MAIN "image" on this "Maxell tape commercial"... we'll it just HITS the fucking NAIL on the HEAD when it comes to ELEVATING the "cassette tape" to such MIND-BLOWING "heights"!!!....

Not B&O cassette deck, more a Nakamichi. @0:02 the writing "double capstan" is visible. Only one B&O deck had that and it was the top loaded Beocord 5000.
