League of Reason: http://forums.leagueofreason.co.uk/index.php

I put this as a response to AronRa's video because he mentioned making beef ribs in the sidebar.

In April, I promised to give a recipe illustrated with pictures once a month in the League of Reason Creativity forum. Unfortunately, my camera and a lot of other property, was stolen from me in May. I am using this video as the recipe for August. I do not plan on making videos like once a month and I still do not have a new camera, but I am hoping to be able to restart this promise.

Here is the thread where I posted this video: http://forums.leagueofreason.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1831

  • My family are herders so when we're there I have them, fresh they're amazing.

cloudberries are nice with them, what I usually have too.

  • I love reindeer steaks, done a little rare. My favorite meal when I worked in Sweden was reindeer steaks and cloudberries with cream.

  • there is no way I could get away with cooking half a rack of ribs I tend to eat a whole one by myself

  • Hey I saw this on the Darfur Home Cooking Channel...ahem.

  • JR - don't give up on low/slow charcoaling. I've got a Weber kettle that I do chicken and ribs on that turn out great. I put a water bowl in the middle of the charcoal grate, place a ring of charcoal around the water bowl, and light it up. Because the Webers are made so tight, you can use the bottom vent/ash sweeper to control the air and keep the temps right where you need them. I can get about five hours of 225F this way before I have to reload the charcoal.

  • I tried doing ribs once....

    It didn't end well.

Try Reindeer meat Chad, it's lovely.

  • To JRChadwick: Here's a tip...Use a disposible aluminium tray so your ribs don't char too much. Put your rib in the tray, the tray in the BBQ an close BBQ ^^.

  • they messed up my comment what it had said was jrchadwick is the most gentlemanliest gentlemen of gentlemendom : D

i don't know where all this business of sausage grilling comes

  • Should cook on propane, hank hill would be thoroughly disappointed.

I hope thats not a reference that is wasted of course.

Looks pretty good to me as well by the way. Kinda making me wish i could do the same, but im in the UK, and 10 minutes of sun a week in the middle of summer isnt quite enough...
