@Thriller94 he is not going high painfully i think he's doing it almost in the right way..but it doesn't fit on this song! this song must be interpretated, acted, played!
Buddy.... You butchered this song... I understand you TRIED to do it like Adam Lambert, but you are nowhere near... In trying to do this, you went flat and sharp a couple times in the song... The song was barely believable (acting-wise) and maybe you should stick to the protocol on this one.... You don't need to go ridiculously (painfully) high when you sing this song....... Seriously man. I beg you to never attempt this song again. Thank you.
usually flat down... no jaw tension or throat tension... that'll cause you to crack or go flat/sharp... just keep the tongue against your bottom teeth and push the air through... it's also healthier if you spin the note because that keeps it in tune and decreases the tension in the note.... hope that helped... :P
hey man, im doing the musical at a church near by and it's sold out... So im really nervous! My roll is Judas and im supposed to sing this song at the opening. But the problem is that the pitch is to high for my voice, so im asking you, since you come really high in pitch on this song, if you have any advice to give me on how to get up so far! You did it really cool, except at some parts too much "waling" ;) Please respond!
i think is was pretty good, but it looks like he is flirting with girls and not singing to jesus :p

@dades92 He is going too high... Adam Lambert pulled off because of how LITTLE tension is noticeable in his voice..
He TRIED going high and went WAY off key.. (refer to 2:27). Not very good..
