@PurgeYourSins This is the only album BRUCE FAIRBAIRN did that I liked. Never really got into BON JOVI. MICHAEL WAGENER and TOM WERMAN were my fave producers....BLACK N BLUE was supposed to be Americas DEF LEPPARD, but it never really happened...still, they're probably the most underrated band of the 80's, along with DOKKEN, IMO....

Great album, great band! We're still looking them up on youtube 25 years later. That says it all.

This was and still is one of my favorite albums!! With Bruce Fairbairn (Slippery When Wet producer) they had a great power band sound that Gene Simmons as producer couldn't capture with their follow-up album "Nasty Nasty"

Side one of this album is as perfect as this genre gets. Rockin' On Heaven's Door, Without Love, Stop the Lightning, Nature of the Beach, Miss Mystery....awesome!
