Pagan Celtic Music - Thirteen the Knives (Parco del Beigua)

This is my new "pagan" track, based on a single jig I wrote this summer in Vara (Savona, Italy), inspired by the nature on the Ligurian apennine.
Here I'm playing bodhran, accordion, whistles and uilleann pipes.
Thanks to Gabriele Boschi for recording the fiddle tune.
The pictures were taken by me within the Beigua natural park.

thirteen the knives of the blackthorn
the banishing wood, dark to the core

eleven in circle, the sons of the earth
circles of woods, the hideout of elves

seven the stones, on the top of the hill
the vanishing light, the magical thrill

five the wee lights, as sun is fled
the will-o'-the-wisp, eyes of the dead

three lines the Triskell, three Gods the celts
three mothers, three fathers, all over the lands

one is the stone, on the hill of Tara
what's left of magic, forgotten so far
