A Boeing 757-200 taking off from McCarran International Airport [KLAS]. This was Delta Airlines Flight 1153 from LAS to SLC on August 2, 2009. This flight was delayed because of poor weather conditions in Atlanta, where this aircraft's departure to McCarran was pushed back by 42 minutes. Thus the next flight using the aircraft was delayed as well.

  • can't see the 2nd video because everytime i try to click it the playback bar is blockin it

  • @afcaj0od Yeah.... those annotations were put in before YouTube updated their playback bar behavior so it looks like they've killed all my links in one fell swoop.

You can find all the videos in chronological order on my channel page. =)

  • Oh ya and what seat were you sitting in.

  • @MegaContain1 Like 35A or something like that... I don't know where my ticket is anymore hahaha (but I still have it!)

  • What engines does Delta use on their 757s?

  • @halo2windows If I am not mistaken, some Delta 757s use the Pratt & Whitney PW2000, while others use the Rolls-Royce RB211-535C. In this particular video, I believe the engines on the 757 were the PW2000's, as they did not have that loud characteristic buzzing of the Rolls-Royce's. There is a quiet buzz though if you listen closely.

    757-200 with winglets

  • Does the 757 Delta uses on this route have TVs behind the seats.

  • @halo2windows I've always thought that all of the Boeing 757-200s that Delta operates use the PW2000. I've never seen an RR-powered Delta Airlines 757.

  • @SkyWestCRJPilot Only a REAL pilot could answer that question with that degree of professionalism. Thanks for the help! :D
