  • home and unlock buttons aren't working..something i did?!! HELP

  • @Emmafaceee There are three pieces to the home button, first is the plastic button, second is the flex cable (circuitry) and third is the contact point on the complete charging assembly. Either the flex cable is damaged or not contacting the charging assembly, or your charging assembly is damaged. As for the power button, it is part of the headphone jack assembly, if you wanted to replace it.

  • @DigiExpress okay so it's not a messed up cable from changing the battery?

  • @Emmafaceee If it is a messed up cable, then it would be the home button flex cable. As for the sleep button, that would be a headphone jack that needs replacing (as the sleep and volume buttons are part of the headphone jack). We can fix it for you if you would like, we have a $25.00 flat rate labor fee and our batteries are only $15.99. You can find more information at our website, or on our users page in YouTube.

  • for some reason the sound for the charger comes on when i plug it in but the screen doesnt come back on!!

    PLEASE HELP!!

  • @RoughRider96 check your #3 cable as well as that when you close the screen you keep the LCD ribbon cable attached to the board with your finger. You can also try to remove the power source, the battery, from the device; then reinstall the battery. This may "reset" the iPhone and then it will boot up again. Though it does sound like an issue with the connections of the ribbon cables #1, 2, 3 to the logic board.
