I know the tank is small but the babies are only going to stay in there till they are free swimming. Then they will go to a 10 gallon then finally a 30 gallon tank. The water is not dirty I put some fungal cure in there and it turns the water green. And the plastic is also tinted. I take a syringe to it every day to clean it out. The dark things are snails to help with the clean up. the female will go into a 10 gallon by herself yes I have 2 ten gallon tanks. and the male will go into a 5 gallon tank by himself after he takes care of the eggs and fry. the male Spike is a red crown tail betta and the female Bella is a blue red round tail betta. sorry I did not get the bubble nest in the shot. sorry about the poor video I need to buy a new camera.
