I hope they make it, even being a european. The record has stood still for too long. But then again these guys have been idling for too long now. They need to get going and go for it, before the bigass money teams come sailing in. There are 2+ of those multi mil teams aiming for 2011 so I recon these guys need to make 800 this year or early 2011, since theyll almost certainly be clipped by the others when they are ready.

I hate to say it guys but the only thing this machine is gonna break is the poor sucker inside..Going supersonic is not like building a soapbox racer which this car is like compared to Thrust and Bloodhound.

How long are the Brits going to be laughing at US? Its time for America to take back the landspeed record!!! Godspeed North American eagle. Do it for American pride!! I hope America takes the title back. The Brits constantly rub it in Americans face on youtube.

Just Wondering if Ed and his team are still trying to break the land speed record. Most of the videos on here are good but too short or to technical. I would like to see it in action at top speeds.

Nobody has bigger sacks than Breedlove. Cuz you are the fockin shiz when you shoot thru a telephone pole at 600 miles an hour. You jumps out and says "top that mutherfockers" and they hates you.

Saw a thing on tv just the other night on this. I'm sure these guys are great guys and all, but with the stupid oversights they had in ruining their first engine, and looking at the construction of this thing... I'd say somebody's gonna get hurt. I don't think they're approaching the problem with enough expertise and science, just guts and glory. Best of luck to 'em but, I wouldn't put my money on them.
