The Actual DZ was at the Ginkelse heide(Ginkelse Heath) Just east of the town Ede,Every year On september 100s of men still parachute on this spot for the Remembrance of Operation Market Garden,Even Vets made the famous jump,Some years ago.
Most of the Movie was filmed in Deventer And Zutphen,Because Arnhem has been modernized,After the war.
The War Scars are still visible on various locations in Holland, Arnhem/Nijmegen/Oosterbeek/Ede
