Bad Trip for St Trinian's girls

Part of an arty dramatisation in the style of a music video. The video is based on an event which happened in an English school in 1969, when a group of schoolgirls took LSD and smoked loads of weed at the back of the school. The girls were caught by the Headmaster of the school whilst they were tripping, instead of taking them to the school nurse and calling their parents he decided to administer traditional English, school corporal punishment to the drugged up hippie girls. The girls were taken into his office and had their bottoms smacked and the girl thought to be the ringleader was also spanked and also then given six strokes of the English cane on her bare bum.

personally I think it is terrible, a headmaster or school principal should be more responsible, it seems they often took out their frustrations out on their students. I know they had to keep discipline but can you imagine really being so angry that you want to hit them? I can't, yeah sure if they do something to you but just for acting up at school or getting high. A lot of the time I think teachers only pretended to be angry!

Sounds like one of the stories that came out of tabloids at that time. On slow afternoons reporters would sit around their offices and make stuff like this up. Many have admitted it.

The Sunday Mirror in Sydney used to come up with weird sex stories that were supposed to have happened in Austria or West germany because nobody would check if it was true and it sold papers.
