This was an awesome multiplayer match with me (TEC), raider969 (vasari and 3 other hard AIs. The TEC and varsari teamed up at first to defeat two AIs. Varsari have long seeked and planned to betray their alleged friends the TECs. Varsari have long been secret allies with AI no.3 and when the other 2 AIs fell, varsari decided to act by betraying TEC and team with the AI
TEC being ganged up on now desperately tries to defend its planet but the battle on two fronts is just to much. As a last attempt a fleet of veteran capital ships and some cruisers retreated to a old TEC desert planet. As more planets fell TEC have lost almost all of its weapons and civilan research labs and could not build any cruisers. Knowing they are crippled varsari sends their full armanda to the defended planet hoping to crush the TEC once and for all. TEC being outgunned with alot of cruisers destroyed in previous campaigns, makes up the numbers by quick training of light ships. Knowing this varsari charges front on. The situtation is hopeless as defeat is only a matter of time.

@That1Niftyguy THose are the pirates you have to bribe them to attack others or they will send fleets in to crush you.

my pc has an i5, windows xp, 4gb ram and a low end 9500 gt. it lags everytime, even there are no battles, just the sheer numbers of ships, 10 players, 132 worlds.

@DevilOnHog it mainly was because there was no campaign or story to actually follow
