@ethanhines I believe you are asking me the wrong question; a better way to learn the proper answer is to ask "what does the title 'Mister' mean?" - Learning the meaning of the word will lead you to the proper response in your own words.

@coreyeib when they asked him are you mr. Wilson what should he have said. for example if his name is John Wilson

@ethanhines in my layman opinion yes it does grant jurisdiction. They are calling the name of the 'person' on the birth certificate, which is government property and by answering you create joinder (like waving your hand at an auction) and are subject to their jurisdiction. I personally found it very fascinating to look up the definition of Mister, after that I always correct any public official who refers to me as Mister (of course in a respectful way because most don't intend to insult)

JURISDICTION hearsay?..type imbatman57 in youtube & talkshoe.com

Unfortunately saying your MR puts you into their corporate juristiction. Also must make sure you remind the "business meeting" that you are not a citizen, nor an agent of the corporation and claim no ownership over the legal name...

The Magistrate was a green and an in-experienced young Australian woman, not an experienced Justice of the Commonwealth, who would know how to throw the Book at him. Her voice was so sweet that it made me uncomfortable, if not cringe.
"Are you Mr. Wilson?" - "Yes" - they got you.
