Genkai:Journey Through the Next World: Katana of the Hex

Now with the Guardian of the Shikon Jewel seeking an errant shard of the crystal fallen before the mentor of the Spirit Detective the journey of Genkai is starting to really take off. Her next foe is one i am not familiar with but what i do know is that he hails from the Tokugawa Era and is a bit of a party animal. I take alot of liberty with him in this story, here he is a master swordsman who long ago entered into another dimension from the summit of Mt.Corolita in a remote part of the Himalayan Kingdom of Shi to take a century in isolation. In the halls of the Monastic Order of the Snow Leopard the monks agreed to use their ancient secrets to open a gateway to another realm so that in exchange for his current life and all earthly pleasures the wandering samurai would be able to avoid aging for a single century and train without distraction. Little does he know his final test is about to arrive unexpectedly. Will a hundred years of training be enough to defeat a warrior who has slain some of the most powerful demons ever to walk the fsce of the Earth?
Genkai's eyes look over the body of the priestess who had lived far past her proper time through profane means.
"This girl's soul no longer contains the ability to hold itself to it's former body...part of it has also...gone missing. I suspect this girl was the victim of an evil spell...by whom I shall never know. But you may now move on in peace...and know that this Naraku shall too pass unto history as all mortals must and do." She watches as the spirits of the souls of all the girls that Kikyo had ever absorbed that had not been completely expended fly out of her form as she reaches her hand up to the elderly martial arts master and slowly closes her eyes. Her serpentine attendants swirl around her and lift her up with their energy causing a shimmering light to build around them until it glows blinding. Genkai covers her eyes and is forced to look away as the girl and her soul collectors fade in and out of existence until they finally vanish in a flash of pure blue sacred light.. She closes her eyes and gives Kikyo a moment of respectful silence before turning and walking through the temple to the man stirring the giant cauldron.
"Hey! You with the hood on your head! Where can i find another way out of here?" She grimaces as the man chortles and mockingly points back at the portal she emerged from in the initial entrance to the temple.
"...if I have no other choice...I would dare not stay here." She walks up to the portal which changes to a random plane and location every time a sentient entity passes through it. "Well, I wanted excitement..."
Genkai steps through the portal and to her dismay she is presented with a bizarre checkered landscape with seemingly random towers, steps and block extending into the shadowy distance. "Curses...I would have been better off staying in that temple...no matter, this is just as in my youth, pure adventure taking me where the wind leads me." Her resolve turns to shock as she feels a sword come to her throat. She flips the assailant over her shoulder without a second thought and he lands on wooden samurai sandals. "I shall end my century of training in isolation with the defeat of the legendary Genkai!"
"If you lose you must tell me how to return to the world of the living!"
He grins "So be it then. However i can assure you."
He places his hand on the topmost and smallest sword on his back. He draws it and pulls his arms back behind his head facing the blade downward and the point in the direction he is facing, straight into Genkai's direction.
"This shall not come to pass."

E of DEX here: Nice battle! It progresses the story, but I must ask you something. Just how long is the story exactly? Do you know how the story goes or are you just making things happen as you go along? Either way you're doing a great job! Nice use of that Bleach closing theme. Well, see ya around.

Hi, I plan for this story to be really long because i know I love a nice long story plus i always have tons of ideas and I want to channel them around martial arts for awhile, mostly I make it as I go along since for one thing I'm always adding new characters and stages to my MUGEN...so far no luck with the Avatar though...when I find him I'll make that one I said i wouls make. Thank you for the compliment, your videos are looking great too.
