Torah Lesson: Tetzaveh

Rabbi Moshe Rothchild is an inspirational speaker, teacher, and Israel advocate. After receiving his Semicha from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, he began his career as an educator and taught in some of New York's most prestigious Jewish high schools. At the same time, Rabbi Rothchild worked in informal education and founded several outreach initiatives, including the Cooper Fellows Israel Program and the Netivot Summer Experience in Australia. After 10 years in education, Rabbi Rothchild transitioned into the pulpit, first in Perth, Australia and later in Miami, Florida where he doubled the shul membership, erected a new building and reached out to hundreds of unaffiliated Jews. In 2009, the Rothchilds decided to lead by example and left Florida to make Aliyah to Israel. Rabbi Rothchild currently resides in Efrat with his wife and children. He works as a tour guide and also on behalf of the Koby Mandell foundation, an organization that supports victims of terror and trauma. Rabbi Rothchld enjoys playing the guitar and was the 1994 recipient of the award for New York's funniest Rabbi. He continues to use music and humor to teach and inspire Jewish people around the world.
