Will i need a fuel cell to do this? or can i keep the reg gas tank? & how much work is it to do this? any cuttin & welding on the floor panels?

bluebomber nice work!! @eclipsegsx765: mgc144 is right, I'm the guy whose car is being worked on to create the 1st V6 5 speed AWD 3G Eclipse. The shop behind the build is UCS Performance in Silver Spring, MD. It should be done by this summer hopefully earlier. If you want to know details of my build go to Club3G.com. just have a question if you know the answer please let me know, ahem... I can find older fwd RS eclipse's for dirt cheap (2G's eclipse's to be exact) now my question is will the awd eclipse's parts fit? What I mean by that is will the rear ends bolt onto the RS chasis no problem or would I need to fab stuff to make it work? I know you used an evo for your 3G, just wondering.

how much did it cost to convert to AWD? i'm considering doing that also, sweet ride by the way

@krillin2022 It only ended up costing me a grand, I bought nearly a whole wrecked evo and by selling all the parts I did not need paid for most of the project.

nice work now i believe its an awd. but honestly you should of gone with a 2g gsx with a 6 bolt 4g63 the body looks so much better and the engine has far more potential

You may want to do your homework, majority of the parts on this car are Evo 8, which lays waste to the old 6 bolts, and what would set me apart from everyone else to use a platform that already has an AWD option.
