The best modern day Bond was Pierce Brosnan...The best latter day Bond was Sean Connery...I think Orlando Bloom would be a good choice to play James Bond...I also think Hugh Grant would be a good Bond...That being said, I think the next actor to play James Bond should be an unknown...Why?...Because it's the only way to find the perfect actor to play the role...Many people aren't aware that the actor Ian Fleming, the James Bond author, wanted to play Bond was Cary Grant.

@iamsasquatch1 The Saint was one of my favourite tv shows way back when too and there is definitely a similarity between James Bond and Simon Templar...I think Orlando Bloom would make a good Bond...I thought Pierce Brosnan was an excellent choice...I think Hugh Grant would make a good Bond, given his looks, charm and his wonderful wit...Just like finding a new actor to play Batman or Superman, it's not easy finding a new Bond...I don't think Daniel Craig looks like James Bond.
