does anyone know why the ball goes so slow, and why it goes through the two blocks at the end?

  • how did you move the camera like that?

  • use keyframes, go on the blender website, it has tutorials on ipo curves and keyframing. Or on youtube, search super3boy

  • "does anyone know why the ball goes so slow, and why it goes through the two blocks at the end?"

Check out Agent47crows Game and Physics tutorial

I'm subbed to him so you can find him through me!

  • its because the ball's mass was set to 1 and should have been around 20

and the blocks were just rotated on the wrong side.

  • it's mass may be too low, you can try cranking it up

  • alright, thanks, and i figured out why the last two blocks didnt deflect the ball. I had them rotated to the wrong side

  • How is blender shit? Have you actually seen some of the incredible videos made with it?

  • Why did you make the ramps out of a bunch of cubes? You can easily make smoother ramps by Extruding one side of a cube, and so on. Looks good.

  • @NightwishRune or just track the camera to the sphere

  • @cmcintyr7779 it doesnt matter how the blocks are rotated. he probably just didnt have those last 2 blocks set to static. The orientation of the block doesnt have anything to do with the ball being blocked or able to pass through it.

  • what do you mean by "the ball passed through the 2 blocks because they were rotated on the wrong side"? I dont understand why the orientation of the blocks matters. It shouldve still not been able to pass through them.

  • @SkullRiderVideos Best comment yet!

  • Ummm did it turn fast?

  • The ball is slow because its not fast....

  • uh was the ball supposed to fall?

  • Get higher mass and add bounds to last bricks =)

  • " does anyone know why the ball goes so slow

Gravity in blender defaults to 9.8 units/s^2 (gravity is 9.8 meters/s^2). If you make the ball 2 units in diameter, then it's like a 2 meters big ball (6½ ft). Either scale everything down, or set the gravity to 98 so 1 unit is 10 cm. I think mass doesn't affect this too much (only when colliding 2 objects of different masses).

" and why it goes through the two blocks at the end?

Maybe you forgot to make them collidable or something...

  • just a kinda linerider 3d!
