Photo G Buildings I shot on the Universal Studios back lot while working on another movie. They have been processed with Autodesk PhotoFly then cleaned up and rendered in 3dsMax.

  • Very cool! How did you get the photofly image cleaned up? Every time I try using photofly I get walls puffing out at random places & everything looks melted. Also, what version of photofly did you use for this, I have found that photofly 2.1 seems to be even harder to get a quality image than 2.0

Glad you enjoyed the work. The anomalies you are describing are completely normal within the confines of PhotoFly. I simply exported a Obj file into 3dsMax and cut the extra (garbage) polys away from the model.

  • cool job!

  • These turned out great.

  • I am not an expert with 3ds max, how do you make the obj editable once imported into 3ds max?
