Solo, partial downhill in a white Fit sport using the paddle shifters. Single lane and easy pace. 3rd downhill run on this course.

More understeer than usual, maybe because front tire pressure was 5 PSI higher than the rear.

Braked early for the turn at 0:35. I messed up on the last turn. Not a good run.

100% stock. I used the passenger headrest to secure the camcorder.

  • The Fit is slow in a straight line if that's what you mean but it corners pretty fast because it only weighs 2,500 pounds. Plus, I was driving pretty fast, so I doubt the average person could've kept up with me even in a Mustang GT or Accord V6 etc.

  • yup it's a great handling car

  • @willryder5 WHY? thats all I'm gonna ask. The only time you really even see paddle shifters is for tip-tronic automatic transmissions. And even on some high end cars their not mounted on the steering wheel side, but the opposite making anything shy of straight line runs a bit more fun and not even.

  • really 2500lbs? i would not have thought that much. My Scion xB shy of snow plowing at times even shod with 215/50/15 Falken RT615s weighed just under 2473 and I did put it on a slight diet. i doubt i removed a 100lbs though in honesty. Now my 92 EG hatch weighed in at an astounding 2094lbs full of fluids and A/C. I removed over 234lbs of weight from it making it a very FUN CAR !! just not going over an over pass at 3 digits passed semi trailers.. you really learned what light was then.

  • @willryder5 its certainly possible but definitely not practical and be prepared to pay a pretty penny.

  • anyone ever heard of a paddle shifter for a 99 civic HB? if so hit me up i'd like to install one on mine

  • is this on rt 1?

  • 37psi front and 34 psi rear should reduce understeer.

  • @joelinpdx lol thanks! I bought mine in 2007 when it first came out and I still love it! I like it as much as I like my S2000 :)

  • OMG I LOVE THIS VIDEO!! Hahaaa. I just bought one of these little cars and I'm MAD in love with it.

  • Awesome grocery run. Fuck the haters, this was awesome.

    just face the truth people

if u get the right suspension n exhaust...its a great little car :):)
