Remake done in 2008 of a video made in 2001. I left behind the idea of AMV editing many years ago, partially due to an unstable editing system causing the loss of many consecutive videos, and partially due to many changes in my life (graduating, moving, getting a job, getting an associates in computer networking/security, getting married, starting a career), it was hard to fit in large editing projects. Now that life has settled down, I revisited the AMV times only to find that my "Forgotten" video had 4.5m views (8.5m now!) and much praise/criticism. This rekindled a desire to edit that I hadn't felt in awhile. I had a lot of issues with the original version, from the awkward lyrical-matching, the incorrect aspect ratio, to the low quality fansub footage halfway through it. So I decided that this deserved a remake in higher quality with better editing. Whether it actually is better is up to you to decide. The 'effects' have been revamped beyond simple layering which caused some scenes to be a confusing mess, and a couple sections have been redone with different footage. The biggest complaint previously heard for this video was the section that used old fansub footage. This has been replaced with crisp and clear R2 DVD rip footage with no subtitles. Overall, I think its a better video technically, but the almighty rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia my make the older version still the superior. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

i never thought there would be a remake... this version is much better and it had some nostaligc flow. one of the vids that gets me into editing. So Thanks for that.
