In February 2007 we went down the coast of Oaxaca (Mexico), to Puerto Escondido, where we had a blast. "Puerto" as they call it, is a funky alternative beach town, and not one full of gringo tourists. When we were there, they had a surfing competition, which added to the fun. Enjoy!

Tutto bello venire in vacanza a Puerto ma per chi ci lavora è meno bello pensa che nella zona turistica una renta de un local ti costa $6000 Pesos poveretti, e pensa che gli cresce la renta il 10% annui. E di turisti ne vedono ogni anno il 10% in meno. Especuladores mexicano cinga tu madre "dinero no ai por aqui"

Yes. It was a pretty good time, although the waves were pretty small, especially for that beach.

It's a corny old French song by the Spanish singer Luis Mariano: we got it off of iTunes France (you need an account in France to buy songs off the iTunes stores in other countries, but luckily we have that covered).
