I am pretty sure she broke it when she fell off her trampoline. This was back when she was 10 years old and it was a very serious injury. She was saved because there was a nurse at her house at the time it happened and she was able to take quick action!

@kiki0polo It depends on where the break is..and what kind of break..IE: compound fracture, etc. How do I know? I broke mine in a car accident....5th and 6th vertebrae compound fracture... Thank God, she recovered. and is back to singing..
