I was watching this while smoking weed on my couch and was so taken by this scene that I didn't move or blink. Nicolas Winding Refn is one of the best directors out there.

Scotland's national tourist board should consider using this footage in a future campaign. A Danish critic called the film "unbearably self-important." That's the kind of praise that makes me want to see more of Nicolas Winding Refn's work. "Unbearably self-important." That sure beats mainstream films - they're giant cash registers disguised as motion pictures.
