@xTHEREDHATx well i didnt use wikipedia cuz its kinda obvious in WW2 german weapons were just named after the year they were produced in but anyway u reacted on my response, i just did the same. No hard feelins, u just read it wrong obv.

WW1 was clearly from 1914 to 1918 and u mention 39 ? also incorrect > the MG42 was a modified version of the MG34 (1934) MG42 FIRST PRODUCED IN 1942. get ur facts straight before u call some1 retarded... and ur talking about the MG3? i never mentioned the MG3, the MG3 is still used nowadays ye slighty improved MG42..
