Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 XL Custom

This is my 2009 H-D sportster 1200 xl custom with 12" 1 1/4 Z BARS APES HANGERS CHOPPER HANDLEBARS , Screaming Eagle Breather Kit, Rineharts slip on pipes. license side mount plates, engine guard with foot rest, live to ride clutch cover ,I also have a medium low passsanger seat but a took it off because i like better with out it , i only use it when somebody rides with me! i think is costumiize well . let me know what you all think, thanks very much.

Nice bike. but what is custom about it.

@highridinf250 That custom paint! Their is only 500 bikes in the US with that same paint! The paint is Ice Blue, Thats why is called custom! The paint changes Blue when you get close and goes back to purple when you get away. Other thing about custom is the handle bars! 1.(When have you seen a bike coming out od the dealer with that kind of apes Im talking 0miles?

2. High way bar with/ resting foot pegs. 3. License Plate move to the side.

5. Rineheart pipes witch sound like the way you hear it.

6.transmission covers with the eagle.

7.shifter link with the name sporters.

8.new wire cables fir apes.

9.I already change it to a solo La pera seat.

10. I alreday drop it down 1/12.

THAT'S WHAT IS CALL CUSTOMIZING YOUR OWN BIKE. If you know about bikes you should know. .

@highridinf250 I think you mean fabrication! but anyway ! I wonder why harley davidson call it hd sportster 1200 xl custom! I'm gonna have to go to dealer and ask why they call it Custom!!!!

@duende1845 the custom name refers to a few model specific differences from the sportster low. the custom has a 21 inch spoked front wheel and the low has a 19 inch. the custom also has different bars and speedometer gauge setup as well as forward foot controls where the low has mid mount foot controls.

my wife has the same bike and color. except hers is set up for ridng and doesnt have all the useless vanity parts. everything we've added to hers has a use and function that adds to ridability. but thats just us, we're serious about riding. enjoy.
