It was a good effort and energy. However, swaying of the hips, behinds poking out, and doing splits are not appropriate. Your body gestures weren't and movement weren't appropriate at certain times. No movement matched the words at all. It was more of a performance than ministering.

@theeaglewings11 that text is good but its not for the context we are speaking about... think about this> pagans never knew that they were doing something wrong until they were told...now im not calling anybody pagan ( just want to make that clear) but wen we dance for God u dance with all your might and all you have to offer.....however that doesnt mean you need to splits and walk out the inner courts like if your on a broadway show.....

It is the spirit that moves within us, not us. Rellyrue, God has blessed you with the gift of dance continue to dance for His glory. As long as the spirit of God is in you, keep doing what you doin gurl. You dont know who God might touch through your dance.

@shawdizzle Actually, I was looking for ministry, which is what this purports to be. And I saw very little. What I did see was in appropriate garments (the deacons in the front row should NOT know what your cup size is) and inappropriate movements for the song and for the sanctuary. I appreciate the desire to minister that is in the hearts of these ladies, I just agree that they should go to liturgical dance conferences and workshops and learn from others.
