  • The problem I have with your argument is that the Holy Spirit describes an actual experience (albeit one that could be explained with neuroscience). As a non-theist Quaker, I choose to accept the power of this experience and call it "the Holy Spirit" or "the Light" even though I know it is neurological in origins. It gives clarity and awareness. Among Quakers, all "leadings of the Spirit" are tempered by reflections of the group. Most Christians seem to ignore the Spirit and worship the Bible.

  • Hehehe!

    Me like it lots of!

  • funny shit...well done.

  • hi rkwatson are you still an atheist

  • 2.'ALL' have broken God's laws and yes every single person does deserve Hell. Hell by the way is nothing more than separation from God, not a torturous inferno. But instead of being an evil dictator that wouldn't save anyone, He is a loving God that holds out His hand to save you, that pains over the ones that 'freely' choose to deny Him. You state the real God isn't like that, what is He like, who is He, and why then does your God allow all that goes on in this world?

    1. I have gay friends too. Can murderers and rapists use the same excuse, God made me this way, so where do you draw the line then? The one that sets out to fulfill sinful lusts will excuse any way possible. Is there a gay gene? No one is born gay, making immoral decisions that are acted upon is sin. Christians think its gross because God calls it an abomination, goes against the very plan a man and woman was created for. Your quote is out of context of 2 verses.

  • @h2omanz wierd you say that because the people i know who are gay, including one of my family members, said they didnt choose to be gay. God created them gay therefore it's not a sin. The republican christians think it's gross so they make the world think it's wrong to be gay. This quote i read proves that the christian God is an evil dictator "We all fall short of Gods glory and deserve hell". Well i dunno about you, but i sure didnt do anything to deserve hell. The real God isnt like that.

  • @TheWaynelds

Think you have a misconception of the Christian God. He is the furthest thing from an evil dictator. He doesn't demand perfection as He knows its impossible for humans to be perfect. Christians are forgiven people not perfect people. No one burns in Hell, another misconstrued thought. Being gay is a sin just like any other sinful choice.

  • I believe in God, but not the christian God. Christians make God out to be an evil dictator who creates us to be imperfect, and then demands that we be perfect or we'll get tossed in the lake of fire to burn forever. They state being gay is a sin, which is wrong since God created gay people. They also say that premarital sex is a sin, but if that were true then we wouldnt have sexual urges before we got married to begin with. It's all lies and God is not like that at all.

  • Are you a man or a women?
