Modifed LabTec Pulse 285, working from 3xAA NiMH cells and hooked up to a Retki© backpack. No special parts used, only wire, battery holder and the blue LED ;-)
Retail Output: 2x1W + 1x4W Max-x woofer @ 12V/0.5A
Modified Output (calculated) 2x0.2W + 1x0.4W Max-x woofer @ 3,85V/0.21A.
Still plays loud and with nice bass, for beach party etc. Line-input, AC-plug still fully functional..just remove the batteries first!
