I always wanted to play this piece but Realised I never would. Some years ago I sat for many hours and entered each note into My old Cakewalk Score Writer program. ( I thought it might help me to play the piece) It Didn't! The score writer no longer works with Windows XP. The other day I found the disc containing all the pieces music I had entered into Score writer. I then played the disc in Cakewalk Sonar. I couldn't make Sonar deal with the trills as Score writer did. I suppose with a great deal of effort the program is capable of making quite a realistic playing style, since just about every parameter is adjustable. The sound is much better when I play the disc through my old Yamaha 7000 keyboard. I post this just for interest and to show what can be achieved using a score writing program - Sonar is NOT a scorewriter it is a music editing program . I think I slowed the tempo down too much at the end. Comments invited from Chopin speciallists!
Funny because it's still played fast in fact but it's just that it's not the real tempo (maybe, or maybe it's just because a computer can't render it as well as a real pianist).
It shows how hard it is to play and master this piece. I wanted to play this piece as well but I don't know if I will be able to do that... it is too hard :p
