  • @skiingcrazed ...lol@skingcrazed..You're about as Scottish as lasagna!

Do you speak with a Scottish accent, are you culturally aware of what it is to be Scottish, what makes a Scotsman tick, having been raised there? ...My guess - no on all accounts!

Accept the fact that you were born an raised an American and get over the embaressment!

  • @medicone104 thanks for posting. I linked this video to my FaceBook this morning. I am headed to Kalamazoo for the funeral of a fallen PSO. PSO Zapata was shot and killed in the line of duty 4-18-11.

  • @koryj1 most irish and scotish immagrants who came over to new york city back when didnt have an education so they did manual labor, many became firefighters

    E-5 firefighter

  • Amazing Grace played by the bagpipes is for fallen heros. Not for average folk. These guys did a damned good job.

  • when immigrants came thru east coast ,usually irish and scotts were firemen and police men , they tungue and dialect confused yanks so they were grouped together.

  • nice, love the transition out of Amazing Grace to Scotland the Brave

  • rustygex I love the sound of the bagpipes too. Check out 'Queen mothers funeral pipes and drums' .

  • @BillyAvesFellaC08

Sorry, but we Yanks incorporated traditions from many places, from whence our ancesters came. Get over it.

  • Well played, could use a bit of tuning up though.

  • Back in the day, a alot of firemen (i.e. FDNY) were of Irish immigration, so you have that connection, also we're very traditional, so it's a tradition thing. Irish and Scottish piping are sort of interchangeable, even though it's the Scottish pipes; the Great Highland Bagpipes. The Irish have their own pipes, but they're not as good as the Scottish pipes, so they stole theirs. haha
