DSSI MIAS 2008 Retrospective

The second Data Sciences Summer Institute on Multimodal Information Analysis and Synthesis (DSSI-MIAS) was held from Monday, May 19, 2008 through Friday, July 11, 2008 in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. The program included student participants from: the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), Kansas State University (K-State), Jackson State University, the University of Georgia, and the University of Texas San Antonio. There were visitors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the University of Southern California's Information Sciences Institute, and Yahoo!
