@TJRHINO29 I think its because ä, ö, ü, ß are special characters they are not mentioned in the alphabet. My alphabet chart greys them out a bit.

I know it has probably already been stated, but this is not the full German alphabet, it is the English alphabet in German. And for those of you non-Germans out there, wunderbar means wonderful, an dass ist nett means that is nice

Both the modern German and the modern English alphabet is a Latin alphabet consisting of 26 letters. The German alphabet also uses three letters with diacritics (ä, ö, ü) and one ligature (ß), and only the ß = eszett is mentioned in the song.

Although the diacritic letters represent distinct sounds in German phonology, they are almost universally not considered to be part of the alphabet. Almost all German speakers consider the alphabet to have the 26 cardinal letters above and will name only those when asked to say the alphabet.
