Cute Girls Hairstyles | YouTube May '11 "On The Rise"

I am a wife, a mom to six children {five of them girls}, a hairblogger {http://www.cutegirlshairstyles.com}, a school board member, and full-time CEO and Logistics Director of our "organized chaos"!

The idea for our website and channel started out really by accident, since I used to take photos of the styles I created on my babies years ago just so I could remember them. As toddlers, they would pick their own style every morning and it sure made mornings easier! They had a vested interest as well! After a few years, the photo albums were getting destroyed, so I decided to place my photos digitally on a blog for my friends and my girls to use. I almost could not believe it when other moms began following! When posting step-by-step photos on the site became too tedious, my hubby recommended that I begin filming the tutorials for the blog and use YouTube to house them. Eighteen months later... look where we are!!! This is incredible!

YouTube has become a major driver for our hairstyles, with thousands of subscribers coming from all over the world. They have a passion for cute hairstyles, and to teach others. For me, providing these tutorials brings satisfaction in knowing that girls worldwide are receiving a boost to their self esteems from all the daily compliments. It is also nice knowing that my daughters and I are helping moms and daughters find bonding time together each day.

We sincerely want to thank our YouTube subscribers and fans for voting CuteGirlsHairstyles as May 2011's YouTube "On The Rise" winner! Likewise, our loyal website and Facebook followers have been with us since the very beginning! It means so much to us to know that you care! We also want to thank YouTube for providing an outlet where we can share what many girls of all ages so desire... very easy, yet super cute hairstyles!
