NaNoWriMo 2009 Trailer

And now for something completely different.

A sort of trailer I made for National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo). For those of you who have never heard of it before, the goal of NaNoWriMo is to write (or try to write) a 50,000 word novella in the month of November. I've been doing it since my freshman year of high school and, despite the fact that I've never finished any of the novels I've started that month, I keep coming back for more. XD It's like a routine now really. So yeah, it's a little early, but whatever. I love how over the top this is (all it needs is epic Don LaFountaine style narration).

I haven't seen a Dune movie (at least not a complete one; I remember bits and pieces from the first one with Kyle McLachlan). But this is a fine trailer, elegant in its simplicity, with excellent use of the music.

Nice choice on the music - The Jihad by Brian Tyler (Children of Dune soundtrack) gets used in trailers ALL THE TIME. As a result, people tend to forget where it came from. So thought I should mention that I recognize it!

Love the video!
